Lukas instantly raised his voice, "What did you say? Reese will cover too?"
Elias gripped the steering wheel with one hand and rubbed his ear with the other. "Didn't | tell you? The three of
us will meet this evening to celebrate Ava's discharge from the hospital. Let's go have a few drinks!"
"Ava's stomach is bleeding, and you still dare to let her drink?" said Lukas in a mocking tone.
Elias rolled his eyes. "You are such a buzz kill. You're just making reasons so you can't come!"
"Alright, sendthe address. I'll cover after our dinner at my parents' house."
"Tsk, tsk. Who was the one who earnestly declared, right from the beginning, that he couldn't make it?" Elias
chuckled.
Lukas let out an exasperated sigh. "I heard Reese say that Ava specifically hates people who talk a lot!"
Elias suddenly turned serious. "My brother, you are spoiling the mood. Should we hurt each other like this?"
Lukas ignored him.

Elias pouted, "Okay, nothing more to say! See you tonight!"
Elias hung up the phone. Lukas clenched his hand around his phone with a hint of tension.
After their quarrel that night, he and Reese had not seen each other for three days. If she sees him tonight,
would she ignore him?
Lukas Strakovski was unwavering and confident when it cto business, but the thought of facing Reese again
made him anxious.
When Lukas was about to leave after dinner, his mother, Yvonne, pulled his arm. She was already in her fifties,
but she was still exceptionally beautiful and young- looking.
She was a little unhappy: "Sweet pea, why are you like this? Look at your brother- he's been abroad for two
years, but as soon as he is in Switzerland, he comes back hin no time. You, how many times have you
visited? Don't you miss your parents?
Lukas grimaced, "Mom, I'm already a grown-up man, stop callingthat!" "Sweet pea?" Yvonne raised her
eyebrows and stared at her son.
Lukas was completely defeated by her. "Okay, you can callwhatever you want. | just have something to do
today. I'll be back tomorrow night to join you for dinner!"
Yvonne's face lit up and she turned excitedly to Cillian on the sofa. "My dear husband, did you hear that? Our son
promised to go hand join us for a meal tomorrow night. If he doesn't cback, will you go to him, tie him
up, and bring him here?"
Lukas cringed at his mother, who looked like a little girl.
Cillian looked at his wife like a child with gentle eyes: "Okay, if he doesn't cback, I'll break his leg!"
Yvonne smirked at both of them.
Luther suddenly cdownstairs and saw Lukas changing his shoes. He couldn't help frowning, "Are you leaving
already?"
Lukas nodded. "Yes, | have to meet someone about business."

Luther's eyes flickered, and he walked over and whispered, "What else can you do at this late hour, and where
are you going? No, you are at hwith your parents!"
Lukas raised his eyes and looked at Luther. "I really have things to do."
Luther was silent for a couple of seconds. "Alright, I think I'll go with you. The more the merrier."
Lukas put on his shoes and stood up straight. "Don't you want to stay at hwith your parents?"
Luther said blankly, "I go hevery day!"
Lukas shrugged and picked up the car keys. "Whatever makes you happy. | don't mind."
Luther called out to their parents, "Mom and Dad, | just need to check on something. I'm going out today!"
Luther returned to the United States for no reason and decided to spend his twith their parents every day.
As soon as Lukas went out, he saw Luther following him hurriedly.
Suddenly he remembered that Luther and Reese had not met before, so he
blurted out, "You want to cover with me?"
