you want to do?"
She reached out to touch his face, but Theo abruptly opened his eyes and tilted his head away, avoiding her

Kaelyn gave an awkward smile, pulling her hand back. "What's the matter, Theo? You seem upset."
Theo gazed at her face for a moment before speaking. "Kaelyn, after that mudslide, how did you manage to save
me?"
"Why bring that up?" Kaelyn looked stunned but kept her smile. "You know it was traumatic for me. I'd rather not
think about it."
Theo's voice was cold. "So, you're not going to tell me? What about all the comforting words you gaveback

Theo stared at her for a long moment before bursting into laughter. "Kaelyn, you've been lying to
