Chapter 0141 Chapter 0141 Bayview Heights, second-floor study.
"Can't help." Staring at the long-awaited reply that finally cthrough, Dylan's brows knitted in frustration. He quickly typed a response.
"Not enough?" But as soon as he hit send, an error message appeared below.
"Sorry, you and this contact are no longer connected. Please add them as a friend first..." She had deleted him.

In a rare flash of anger, Dylan threw his phone.
With a loud thud, it struck the door just as Diana walked in.
Clutching her forehead with a pained look, Diana frowned at him. "I heard from Desmond that you were in a bad mood, so I cto check on you in the middle of the night. You could at least pretend to appreciate it, but instead, you throw your phone at me! Look, it's swollen! I'm your sister-did you have to be so brutal?" Desmond had actually sent Diana a message hours ago, but she only saw it after several hours had passed. She had spent nearly the whole day tracking down that Goodwin family servant.
Suzy claimed that someone from the Goodwin family had witnessed Desmond intentionally letting go, causing Claude's fall. She even hinted that Dylan gave Desmond the order to do it.
Diana knew her brother and Desmond too well. She could vouch that neither would ever do such a thing. Especially her brother-he might seem like an ice block most days, but he would never stoop so low. The missing servant only strengthened her suspicions.
Determined to get to the bottom of it, Diana rushed to the Goodwin estate, only to find the servant gone. This made her more certain than ever that her suspicions were correct.
She'd been searching for that servant non-stop over the past few days. Exhausted after another long day, her phone had died, and she'd fallen asleep without even showering. It wasn't until she got up in the middle of the night that she plugged it back in, only to see Desmond's message as soon as it powered on.
1/2 Desmond rarely reached out to her unless things were truly serious. So, when Diana saw his message, she didn't care that it was the middle of the night she rushed over immediately.
As she entered, she noticed the study light still on. It was late, and her brother was clearly awake, a sure sign his mood wasn't great. She couldn't blhim because being misunderstood by Suzy was bound to take a toll She hurried upstairs, intending to offer scomfort.

"Ouch..." Diana winced, rubbing her forehead. "Seriously, bro, with the am way you treat even your own sister, NQ no wonder Suzy's shifted her affections to Claude. Just look at him- gentle and thoughtful."
She pointedly looked Dylan up and down. "And then look at yourself, with that frozen expression like you forgot how to smile. And when you do whenke how speak to Suzy, you go straight for the most hurtful things you can think of. They say comparison hurts, and honestly? If I had to choose, I'd pick Claude over you too!" Spotting his phone lying on the floor, Diana's annoyance spiked, and she raised her foot, ready to stomp on it. "Wait... "T"?" She paused, taken aback. "Who is this? You never reply to my messages, yet you replied to this one! And that profile picture... I feel like I've seen it somewhere." Dylan's eyes narrowed, his tone sharpening. "Where?" Diana scratched her head. "Letthink..."
After a moment of concentration, she sighed in frustration. "Nothing. You've hitso hard my brain's not so hard working. I know it looks familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen it.
Guess I'd better head to the hospital." And with that, she swept out of Bayview Heights as quickly as she'd arrived.
Dylan watched her leave without stopping her. He was certain she'd be fine, despite the small bump forming on her forehead.
