Sebastian waved the ring in front of Rosalie and smiled.

Rosalie's bound hands clenched into fists. She bit down hard on her teeth, her gaze burning with bloodthirsty fury.
"Rose, do you know? I've been thinking about something. Why was Justin so easy forto kill?" Sebastian sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"You know Justin's identity—he was a ruthless assassin. He had countless enemies, and there was a long line of people who wanted him dead. Yet no one ever succeeded. But now, he's dead-killed by me, and so easily at that." Sebastian pinched Rosalie's chin. "After thinking it through, it alles down to you. After he got together with you, he becweak. He let his guard down and indulged in happiness. He lost his sharp instincts. That's why I was able to kill him so effortlessly." His hand moved to the back of her head. "Do you understand now? Any man who stays by your side, who falls in love with you, will meet a tragic end. If Justin had known that loving you would cost him his life, do you think he would have still chosen to be with you?" Tears fell from Rosalie's eyes, one drop after another. She bit down on her lips so hard that she nearly tore the skin.

I just wanted you to understand-if you truly want to take revenge on me, then you should stay by my side and love me. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll die, and it will all be because of you. But I don't mind." Sebastian spoke softly, his tone gentle. "Because as long as I can be with you, don't care about what it will cost me. That is what true love is. Even if your thorns are laced with poison, I would still willingly O embrace you. Where else could you find a man like me?" Rosalie's heart was bleeding profusely. It felt as if the blood had drained dry, leaving her entire body numb and cold. Even if someone were to stab her now, she might not even feel it. After all, what could be more painful than witnessing the brutal murder of the one she loved? Sebastian slid Justin's ring onto his ring finger. "Look, the size is just right. When we get married, let's use this pair of rings. That way, you'll have something to remember." Rosalie said nothing, but her heart burned with boundless hatred. She wished nothing more than to see Sebastian torn to pieces. She was willing to pay any price to kill him-even if it meant sacrificing her own life.
Sebastian then removed the ring from his finger and weighed it in his hand. "But this belongs to Justin, and I don't like it. Let's get new rings instead. The only memory you should have is of me." "Sebastian, you will never have peace in this life." Rosalie lifted her gaze and looked at him coldly. "Every day you live will be a struggle because a man like you will never know happiness or love. You will go to hell." A suffocating silence filled the air. Sebastian stared at her for a long moment, then suddenly burst into laughter.
He stood up.
"Rose, I am very happy right now because we are together. So whatever you say doesn't matter. It's nothing but self-deception."
