Chapter 220

It was Angela's first day at the company. Bill wondered whether those people had done their part. Had they

managed to put pressure on her?

Bill was now completely under Angela's control. The hospital staff wouldn't allow him to contact the outside

world, and his phone had been confiscated.

All he could do was read, watch TV, and tend to the garden. He was on the verge of going crazy.

"Mr. Graham, Mr. Graham!" A familiar voice suddenly called from behind.

Bill stiffened, thinking he must have misheard.

Turning around, he saw two people dressed as janitors hurrying toward him. At first glance, he didn't recognize

them, but the voice he had just heard was unmistakable.

"Bill, it's me, Andrew." Andrew lifted his messy wig while pretending to sweep beside Bill, but his expression

couldn't hide his excitement.

Bill's expression changed. He knew it must not have been easy for Andrew to sneak in. He turned back around,

continuing to feed the fish, and lowered his voice. "Why are you here? How did things go today?"

Andrew sighed as he swept up the fallen fish food. "Bill, | never expected Angela to be so formidable. The

Bill's brows furrowed tightly, and he gritted his teeth. "How is that possible?"

Andrew sighed again. "We didn't expect things to turn out like this either. What should we do now?"

Bill was silent for a moment before speaking thoughtfully. "She must have made quite a few enemies already,

right?"

Andrew nodded. "That's right. The moment she arrived, she fired Sean,

completely disregarded Logan, and even scolded several senior executives in the company."

Bill sneered coldly. "I knew she

wouldn't be able to stir up much trouble. Young people lack patience. She thinks she's establishing

authority, but she doesn't realize

enemies on all sides."

Andrew wanted to tell Bill to stop talking and start acting. Angela was the daughter

he had raised, after all.

"Here's the plan. Talk to those

people and tell them not to follow

Angela's orders. Actually, you might not even need to say

anything-Angela has no footing in the company. She won't be able to make any real impact." Bill smirked with

disdain.

In his mind, Angela was still that foolish daughter who only knew how to play petty

tricks and lacked real intelligence.

Andrew, however, felt uneasy. "Are you sure this will work?"

"At the very least, it will slow her down. In the meantime, I'll figure out a way to get out of here. There's no way

woman destroy the company

waved his hand dismissively and

threw a handful of fish food into the lake.

Just then, two medical staff approached them.

Bill gritted his teeth. "You should leave now. If that damn woman finds out, the consequences will be disastrous."

Andrew lingered by the lake for a moment before managing to slip away.

The day was both long and fleeting. When Angela got home, she immediately changed into casual clothes and

lay on her large bed, letting her mind drift into relaxation.

Finally, her first day was over without any major disasters.

The hardest part was always the beginning. She had already overcthe toughest hurdle, and she believed

things would only get smoother from here.

She filled the bathtub and soaked in warm water, quietly pondering what those old foxes at the company would

do next.

Before she knew it, she began to feel drowsy. Her eyelids grew heavier, and she could barely keep them open.
