Chapter 1208 Golden Opportunity Presented
Anthony's body shook violently at Damien's single sentence.
He bit his lip and replied cautiously, "I don't think | know what you're insinuating."
"So you're playing that game, huh?" Damien's smile was faint but unmistakable. "Fine. We can talk more in Dorothy's ward. Let me
clarify things clearly for you then and there."
"Ah, that's right," Damien's voice rang out again.
He spoke the words aloud as if he had remembered something, but uttered icily, "lI don't like to be kept waiting."
"If you don't arrive promptly..."
"I can't promise Keh won't lose a limb in prison," Damien added ominously.
Anthony gripped the phone tightly in his hand, his voice edged with defiance. "Damien, do you truly think you wield that much
influence?"
"You'd be wise to remember that we are in Yatesville, not Adania! Your authority means nothing here!"
Anthony's final words rang out almost like a shout.

It was inconceivable, utterly inconceivable.
How had Damien managed topletely infiltrate Yatesville's connections in under a month?
Yatesville was supposed to be Anthony's hground, his domain, the stronghold of the Gray family!
The Lenoir family belongs in a backwater like Adania!
Damien's power and influence can't have extended here; it's impossible...
The low maic voice on the other end chuckled softly. "Uncle Anthony, at this point, you still believe Yatesville is truly yours to
"If there existed a person in Yatesville who actually followed your lead, you wouldn't be left isolated on that street in such a
miserable condition, would you?"
"I have the means and resources to lock up your illegitimate son forever, where he'll never see daylight."
"You know by now that | can make it happen."
His voice then took on a low, threatening rumble. "Considering the atrocities you've done to the Lenoirs, even if | were to send him
to the afterlife and tear his body piece by piece, it wouldn't be unwarranted!"
Anthony's forehead glistened with sweat, his resolve wavering under Damien's chilling words.
With teeth gritted, he begrudgingly conceded, "Fine! I'll go along with it!"
"I'll go to Dorothy's ward right away!"
"Good," Damien replied tersely. "I'll be there waiting for you."
With that, Damien abruptly ended the call.
Yatesville was significantly removed from Adania, and Damien's business activities were predominantly overseas; he rarely
involved himself directly in Yatesville affairs.
Yet, Anthony had underestimated Damien's ownwork of connections, many of which held strong ties within Yatesville.
Zachary had presented Damien to his key business collaborators in Yatesville.
Meanwhile, Syatt had facilitated connections with influential contacts associated with the Posten family.
Moreover, Steve had diligently pooled his extensivework in Yatesville, ing crucial relationships and bridging connections
among them all.
With the collective efforts of these individuals, bolstered by Damien's respected lineage and reputation in Adania, he swiftly
infiltrated Yatesville's elite circles in just under two weeks.
As Damien reflected on those who had helped him establish these connections, a faint smile played on the corner of his lips.
Perhaps it was all because he had found such a suitable match?
Whether it was Steve, Zachary, or Syatt—each had been introduced to him through Cherise's connections.

They all shared a positive history with Cherise, whether she had helped them mend their personal relationships or preserved their
lives through her medical expertise...
A soft chuckle escaped Damien's lips as he mulled on it.
On occasion, her involvement had turned out to be helpful.
Even though he had infiltrated Yatesville'swork weeks earlier, Damien had refrained from immediately taking action against
Anthony.
The delay was deliberately strategic, waiting for the right opportunity.
To strike when either Keh or Anthony made a misstep.
When it cdown to it, Anthony was directly related to both Jude and Colin. To Jude, he was his father. And to Colin, he was once
his cherished Uncle Anthony.
Therefore, Damien couldn't afford to make a move lightly, and he had to take their feelings into account.
But devil-may-care Keh? It was as if Keh had given him the keys to his house.
A hit-and-run incident.
With a cold smirk, Damien's lips curled slightly.
