Hearing her voice, the three old men turned toward the door, and when they saw Elysia, smiles appeared on

their faces. “Cover, Elysia,” Jack called out, waving his hand.

Elysia quickly ran over and hugged him, resting her head against his chest. “Jack.”

“Why are you crying?” Jack asked.

“I'm so happy to see you. That's why I'm crying,” Elysia said.

“Really? Con, lettake a look. Have you been doing well?” Jack said, gently lifting her face to inspect her.

“You look like a bunny when you cry.”

“Is that a compliment?” Elysia replied.

Jack said, “Yeah. If you really beca bunny, we can just bundle you up and take you back to Silverstream.”

“Are you takingto Silverstream?” Elysia’s eyes widened, her gaze turning serious as she looked up at Jack.

For a moment, the entire room was silent. Of course, they would love to take her with them, but they couldn't.

Jack cleared his throat, breaking the silence. “Elysia, your his here.”

Leo’s temper flared too. He wouldn't let anyone bully her. “Elysia, tellwhat's going on.”

Their gazes focused on Elysia, their expressions filled with concern and anger, waiting for her response.

Seeing the worry and frustration in their eyes, Elysia felt a lump in her throat. She struggled to hold back her

tears but managed a smile. “You misunderstood me. | just missed you guys so much. Just ask Nicole if you don’t

believe me.”

Nicole, who had been watching them with great interest, suddenly jolted in surprise. She looked at Elysia, unsure

how to respond. Elysia gave her a subtle glance, and Nicole quickly spoke up, “Yeah, Elysia just missed you

guys.”

“Really,” Elysia added.

“Yeah,” Nicole said with complete sincerity, sweating. After all, the three old men were not people she could

mess with. If they got angry, she wouldn't be able to handle it.

“Really, | just missed you. | haven't been wronged. You know me, right? | always get revenge if someone crosses

me. Who could possibly bully me?” Elysia said with a wink.

She had planned to handle this on her own from the start. The reason was simple. She didn’t want them

worrying about her. They were getting older, and it was better for them not to be involved in all these

troublesmatters.

“That's true,” Jack said with a chuckle, reaching out to gently tap her head. “With your personality, no one would

dare bully you.”

Nicole let out a sigh of relief before breaking into a smile. “You must be tired. I've already arranged for dinner to

be served. How about we enjoy it together?”

“That sounds perfect,” Leo said as he stood up.

They moved to a private room at Scented Garden, where the table was already covered with a variety of

delicious dishes. Knowing they hadn't seen each other in a while, Nicole thoughtfully excused herself and left the

room.

After they had eaten their fill, Jack finally spoke up. “Elysia, there's something | want to talk to you while you're

“What is it, Jack?” Elysia asked, her curiosity piqued.

“I want you to handle the collaboration between Spark Entertainment and Fabian Group.” Jack said, “The family

business is getting bigger, and sooner or later, you'll need to take over. You should get familiar with things now.”

“Understood.” Elysia nodded with determination.

“Good.” Jack said with a satisfied smile, “I'll give you the contract soon. The meeting is scheduled for tonight.”

“That's so soon.” Elysia’s eyes widened a bit.

Jack chuckled at her reaction. “What's wrong? Are you losing confidence already?”

“Of course not. Just wait and see!” Elysia grinned confidently. She thought, ‘Withon the job, nothing is

impossible!” “Alright, I'll wait for your good news,” Jack said with a smile.

After getting the contract, Elysia carefully examined it before searching online for information about the Fabian

Group. The founder of the Fabian Group, Fabian Evans, graduated from a prestigious university with a Ph.D. He

established the company five years ago and, within just two years, made it one of the leading enterprises in

Clusia.

only seen- he never expected to run into her here.

The door opened again, and the waiter entered with a cart of food. He carefully placed the dishes on the table,

then stepped back respectfully, leaving the two alone.

“I hope you'll like these dishes, Mr. Evans. If not, we can have them replaced,” Elysia said politely.
