Ava pouted and thought, ‘We’ve been trying so hard to becVincent's apprentices, but Elysia, with her great
talent, doesn’t seem to mind at all. Is that the difference between a genius and us
mary folks?‘
“Are you finished with your drawing?” Elysia asked.
Hearing this, Ava grinned, a bit embarrassed. She was confident at first, but after seeing Elysia’s work, she
realized hers was not up to snuff.
“Almost there,” she said, addin
a few more strokes before putting the drawing into the tube.
Returning to Class 6, Ava looked around the classroom, puzzled. She thought, ‘Where did everyone go? Shouldn't
they all be studying here at this time?‘
Just then, she saw Grace coming in from outside. Ava quickly stopped her to ask, “Where did everyone go?”
Grace glanced into the classroom and replied, “They're playing basketball with Class 1 on the court.”
“With Class 1?” Ava said in disbelief. She thought, ‘Since when did Class 6 start having basketball games with

“Actually, it’s not just playing basketball; to be precise, it's a competition,” Grace said.
“What do you mean?” Ava

Upon hearing this, Grace looked at Elysia with a bit of sarcasm. “It's because of her. During the Winter Games

“That's right!” Ava finally understood, quickly taking the poster tubes off their shoulders and placing them on the
desk before dashing off with Elysia. Grace watched them leave and decided to follow.
Grace hadn't intended to get involved, but with Elysia going, the basketball gsuddenly seemed interesting.
Grace was curious to see how Elysia would react when she saw the students getting into a conflict because of
her and their classmates.
When they arrived at the court,
it

One of the girls stood there looking confused, holding the basketball. Eric was on the sidelines, stomping his foot
in frustration. “What are you standing there for? Pass it!”
The girl heard him and immediately threw the ball. One of the girls from Class 1 quickly jumped
fingers, and the scorekeeper quickly turned two pages on the scoreboard.

Only then did Ava notice the score was 0 to 5. Their team had 0. Class 1 had five. If things continued like this,
they were going to lose.
Ava grabbed Elysia’s hand, walked over to Eric, and asked, “What's going
on here?”
Hearing the familiar voice, Eric looked at them, a bit surprised. “When did you get here? Weren't you in the art
room?”
“We just got here. Why
are the girls playing basketball?” Ava asked.
Upon hearing this, Eric frowned, “Those guys in Class 1 are scared they'll lose to us if they match up against the
boys, so they suggested that the girls play instead. But there aren't many girls in our class who can play
basketball!”
“And look at the girls in their class, not the best players ever, but they know how to play the game!”
Ava nodded. “They're good at scheming! Eric, what are we going to do? If this keeps up, we're bound to lose!”
“I'll do it!" Elysia stared straight ahead, eyes full of determination. According to Grace, today’s issue was
because of her. So, she decided to settle it
herself.
When they heard Elysia’s words, everyone seemed to see a ray of hope. “Yeah, Elysia can catch a ball with her
bare hands!”
“Not only that, but she’s also amazing at shooting!” Sterling added.

Eric also recalled the first the saw Elysia, right on this court. She had caught an oncoming ball with her
hands and precisely shot it into the hoop. If it weren't for that situation, Elysia’s transfer into Class 6 wouldn't
have been so easy.
They had to go along with their welcoming ceremony at least once. Elysia had already found a small hair tie in
her pocket and pulled her hair up high, revealing her fair neck. At that moment, she looked like a warrior,
glowing brilliantly.

Ava couldn't look away, amazed by the sight. He thought his admiration for Elysia grew just a little more,
After the first gended, the team members went on break. Taking advantage of sfree time, Eric went to
the scorekeepers and swapped Elysia in.
The second gbegan, and Elysia stepped onto the court. She seemed to bring light with her, capturing
everyone's attention.
“That's Elysia, right? Who would've thought she could play basketball?”
“Maybe she’s just there to fill the team! She'll get totally outplayed!”
“Yeah, | don’t believe she can actually play basketball!”
Grace listened to the whispers of her classmates, feeling pleased with herself. These days, there were hardly any
smart girls who had a good family and could play basketball. She didn’t think Elysia was one of those rare girls.
Grace grinned and thought, ‘Elysia can play basketball? | don’t believe it!
Bianca stood on the sidelines and watched as Elysia stepped onto the court. Her first instinct was to see Justin's
reaction. His eyes never left Elysia. Bianca's eyes showed a brief moment of surprise, and she silently prayed
that Elysia would lose badly, hopefully becoming the laughingstock of the entire school.
But they were destined to be disappointed. As soon as Elysia got into the game, everything changed in an
instant. Her movements were smooth, even cooler than most guys, and she looked quite impressive.
Everyone's eyes followed Elysia’s every move as she easily dodged those trying to block her and sprinted down
the court. Elysia was like a brave warrior princess; whenever she got the ball, she always made the basket.
“Boom!” Another basket. The whistle blew and the referee held up two fingers. The scoreboard now showed 6-0,
with their team leading. Cheers erupted across the court.
“Wow! That was so awesome!”
“I can’t believe girls can play ball this cool!”
“No way, I'm totally becoming a fan now!”
Amid everyone's exclamations, Elysia got the ball again. This time, she stood outside the three-point line and
threw it vigorously. Everyone held their breath, eyes following the ball’s movement.
“Boom!” Another cheer around the court. The referee signaled three points to the scorekeeper, who quickly
turned three pages, and the scoreboard now read 9-0.
Ava cheered with excitement, “Elysia! You're amazing!”
