Chapter 563 After having lunch with Nadine, Sebastian returned to his hotel. He watched her figure disappear into the distance before ordering his bodyguard, "I want you to look into all the people that called her this afternoon." He needed to know who called Nadine. Whoever made her that upset was about to regret it. He'd make sure to return the favor to anyone who dared to upset her.

Half an hour later, his bodyguard returned with a detailed call log and handed it over respectfully. "Here's the call log you requested, Mr. Caldwell. Based on the timing, it should be this number." Sebastian took one look at the string of numbers and ordered, "Find out who this number belongs to, where they live, and how they're connected to Nadine." His bodyguards were swift and efficient. An hour later, Victoria's information was laid out in front of him. Sebastian's expression darkened with malice as he skimmed through the information. "Track her down. I want to have a little chat with her." After hanging up on Nadine and realizing she wouldn't be getting a dfrom her, Victoria left the hospital and decided to test her luck at Hamilton Estate. If she could bump into Nadine's man, she'd spill everything about Nadine to him. She wanted to see if Nadine would still have the guts to ignore her then.

Even though she knew the odds of running into him were slim, she figured it was worth a shot and made her way to Hamilton Estate. After all, one should always dream big. Who knows, it might just ctrue.

However, before she could even reach Hamilton Estate, a car suddenly pulled up beside her. Then, four hulking men stepped out of the car-each of them looked like they could split a boulder with their bare hands. Without a word, they started beating her up.

Despite the brutal assault, they were careful and precise, steering clear of her face and only landing punches on areas that would hurt terribly but wouldn't leave any visible injuries.

Victoria was dumbstruck. By the tshe cto her senses, the men had gotten back in the car and sped off, leaving only a trail of smoke behind. Gritting her teeth from the pain, she pushed herself up and tried to catch a glimpse of the car's license plate. To her dismay, she couldn't see a thing.

Her whole body ached, but not a single bruise was visible. "Those men are utterly despicable!" Victoria sat on the ground for a long while until the cold seeped into her bones before she was helped to her feet by a kind passerby.

"Could you doa favor and call the cops? I was attacked. Those people didn't utter a word. They just catand started beatingup! My phone's broken, and I'm hurt!" The passerby noticed her sorry state and decided to help her since she was a helpless young woman. It wasn't long before the police arrived at the scene and began taking Victoria's statement. "What's your name?" sŵ "Victoria Clarke." "Do you know why they attacked you?" "No, I have no idea. They charged atas soon as they got out of the car. I couldn't even see their faces, let alone catch their license plate." "Is there anyone who has it out for you? Or anyone you've had a falling out with?" "No, nothing of the sort. I don't even know those people! They just catas soon as they stepped out of their car. I have no idea what I could've done to upset them!" "We've registered your case, Ms. Clarke. You'll be taken to the hospital now. If we have any further questions, we'll reach out to you."

Disappointment clouded her expression as she watched the officers leave after taking hero M statement. Her statement. How are you going. solve this case with so little to go on? Those people charged atlike they were out for blood! They were so fast that I couldn't even make out their faces!

"Then, right after attacking me, they took off in a rush! I didn't get a good look at a single one of them, and this area is a blind spot for the surveillance cameras. There's nothing you can do!"

Victoria knew her situation all too well and understood there was no way the cops could track down her assailants There was no point in getting her hopes up. In the end, she accepted the officer's offer and headed to the hospital for an examination.
