After hearing that, she was about to retort when the call abruptly disconnected. All that remained in the receiver was the sound of the dial tone.
Gigi was about to call Brad again when a housekeeper walked in and snatched her phone away.
"Give it back! This is urgent! I really need to make a call!" Gigi pounded on the door frantically.
However, the housekeepers only took orders from Brad. No one paid any attention to her desperate pleas.
