Chapter 600 Brad could only imagine just how disappointed Nadine was in him and their marriage, driving her to exhaust all her options and leave herself with no way out.
He deserved it. The sharp, twisting pain in his chest surged again, causing his face to turn ghostly white. Brad could no longer stand on his own two feet. Clutching his chest, he hastily found a chair and sank on it. Leaning back against the seat, he took deep breaths while soothing the area over his heart with his hand.

The pain in Brad's chest gradually subsided. Leaning against the back of the chair, he wearily looked at Adam, who was still watching him. "Grandpa, are you happy now? My heart is failing because I can't seem to reach Nadine. I'm so worried I've made myself sick. Can't you just helpout a little?" In Janctera City, Sebastian was only close to Nadine and Adam. So, if Brad wanted to find out where Sebastian and Nadine were, the simplest and fastest route was through Adam.
Earlier, while he was still in the car, he'd asked Cameron to track Nadine's phone, but they soon realized it was completely untraceable. Left with no other options, he'd cto seek Adam's help. At this point, his grandfather was his only hope.
Noticing that Brad was genuinely distressed over Nadine, Adam's expression softened slightly. He cleared his throat and shot Brad a haughty look before pulling out his phone and calling Sebastian.
The call connected, but the person on the other end wasn't Sebastian-it was his assistant.
"Hello, Mr. Hamilton Senior. Mr. Caldwell is currently touring the exhibition hall at the University of Janctera Medical School, where phones are not allowed, so his phone is with me.

If it's urgent, I can go in and find him right away." The assistant accompanied Sebastian to Janctera City and had met Adam before, holding the elderly man in high regard.
After hearing that, Adam responded, "Oh, I see. In that case, I won't bother them. Let them enjoy their outing.
et the My request isn't pressing, so you don't have to go out of your way forjust wanted to invite Seb and Nad to dinner, but since it's not a good time, we can alway's reschedule for another day."
As soon as his words fell, Sebastian's assistant chuckled apologetically. "There's no need to be so polite, Mr. Hamilton Senior. Mr. Caldwell has made it clear that your invitation is of utmost priority, no matter when or where. "Mr. Caldwell and Ms. Scott have been in there for more than two hours now, so they should be coming out soon. Once they're out, I'll have them give you a call. How does that sound?" Adam liked how the assistant was meticulous in his speech and actions. Adam shot his foolish grandson a disdainful look before responding with a smile, "Sounds good appreciate it." After exchanging a few more pleasantries with him, he hung up.
No sooner had he ended the call than Brad sprang up from the chair, the pain in his chest seemingly gonen "They're at the University of Janctera Medical School's exhibition hall, right? I'll head over there right now! If they call you back, stall them for me, okay?"
Without waiting for Adam's response, Brad bolted out of the room. Adam smirked as he watched his grandson's figure disappear down the hallway. "See? All your actions have finally backfired!" he mused.
