She didn’t want to hide her pregnancy from him, as it concerned both of them. If she chose to keep the baby, it
would naturally need a father’s love.
Having grown up without the love of a father herself, she hoped her child would have all the love and support of
both parents.
Even if she and Brian were no longer a couple, if they worked hard to foster a warm and loving environment for
their child, then that would be enough for her.
