Chapter 87 Journalists
To ensure this scandal would create an uproar, Amanda had pre-arranged for numerous journalists to be
stationed outside the hotel room.
She attempted to contact Elliot but he didn’t answer his phone.
Unable to reach him, she reluctantly abandoned her plan to have him witness the debacle firsthand.
Instead of attending herself, Amanda instructed someone else to spread a rumor to the journalists: a woman
resembling Corynn was allegedly involved in prostitution.
Corynn had been frequently in the media spotlight recently. Even if the woman wasn’t actually Corynn, her
resemblance would likely attract attention and stir controversy in the gossip-hungry press.
Scandals involving sexual relationships were always sensational.
At the appointed time, a journalist used a room key to unlock the door, signaling to the others.
They burst into the room, cameras flashing as they snapped photos of the figures on the bed and searched for
other men in the room.

Based on the information they had received, there was more than one man in there.
The clamor of cameras and the clicking of shutters finally roused Elliot.
The drug in Corynn’s system had been potent and it had lasted until four in the morning, and having had only a
few hours of sleep, Elliot was disoriented.
Upon seeing the intrusion of strangers, he snapped to alertness and instinctively covered Corynn’s face with a
quilt to protect her privacy.
Elliot's expression darkened as he growled, “Get the fuck out of here!”
“You must be a client here for Corynn, right? Do you realize that prostitution is illegal?” one of the female
journalists boldly accused him.
Her accusation hung in the air, met with silence from the room.
She glanced at her companions suspiciously before her gaze settled on the man’s face, which was quite familiar
to her, but she couldn't think of where she had seen him before.
But those who recognized him quickly suggested they leave the scene.
Confused, the female journalist protested, “Why are we leaving? This is huge news!”
It was clear that she had failed to understand the gravity of the situation.
“No, thanks,” one of the journalists said as he remembered his obligations. “I have to take my son to
kindergarten,” he added and quickly left the room.

This situation involved Elliot, a man whose reputation made him dangerous to cross.
Spreading news about him could be tantamount to a death sentence.
The male journalist had a happy family with a son and a daughter, and he wanted to keep it that way, not risking
his safety.
After this journalist's departure, several others quickly followed.
However, a few of them remained.

The remaining female journalist secretly ridiculed those who had left for missing such a great opportunity. She
imagined herself becoming a key figure at the news agency once this story broke.
Before sitting up, Elliot checked on Corynn to make sure she was still asleep. Then, in a low voice, he asked, “Are
you sure you don’t want to leave?”
The female journalist's eyes widened when she saw the hickeys marking Elliot's body. His physique was
impressive, nearly unbelievable, and his striking appearance eclipsed even those male stars famous in the
entertainment industry.
She cleared her throat and declared earnestly, “The woman next to you is Corynn, right? I've taken photos of
you two.”
Elliot’s gaze sharpened as he met her eyes. “You took photos?”
“Yes, of course,” the female journalist responded firmly. “As a journalist, it’s my duty to expose illicit activities!
You'll see yourself on tomorrow's front page.”
Elliot sneered, “Very well.”
With a wave of his hand, numerous men in black surged into the room, lining up promptly, each nodding and
bowing respectfully to Elliot.
“Mr. Andrews!” they greeted in unison.
